The Celli Quartet is a stylish and original London-based group performing for events, formed of four girls with four cellos offering fabulous music.

A highly-trained professional all-girl cello quartet, this unusual ensemble combines a classical background with contemporary arrangements creating a striking and original sound. Their constantly expanding repertoire varies from Vivaldi to Robbie Williams and Tchaikovsky to Michael Jackson, as the musical possibilities of four cellos is endless, with their versatility appealing to a wide audience.

This fresh approach to quartet playing is a great alternative to the traditional string quartet, adding musical and visual impact, and a rich sound that people love. The Celli Quartet can be ideal for more unusual events or clients looking for something a little bit different to the standard string quartet while maintaining a classical foundation.

The Celli Quartet was formed by four graduates of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, in order to bring a new take on the traditional string quartet for events, weddings and recitals. They felt there was so much more the cello could do for these events than merely a bassline and that it was time the instrument was enjoyed in all its glory!

The sound of four cellos is fantastic, warm and exciting, and really adds an extra dimension to music for an event. The girls are experienced in tailoring to the needs of each client and ensuring a seamless atmosphere is created.

The Celli Quartet performs for a wide range of events from drinks receptions, book launches and gallery viewings to corporate dinners, exhibitions and weddings.

For smaller events they can also be hired as a Duo.
