Jon already knows this cause I have already told him so but Groove Machines show last night was absolutely out of this world - we could not have chosen a more appropriate band for the theme of the evening - I thought they would be good but they were better than that, they were fantastic in every respect and made the night for us. Everyone was so complimentary and danced their socks off - I personnaly must have lost 20lbs but I tell you I am feeling it this morning - for once my feet and legs ache more than my head! At the end of June Groove Machine came out to Cairo to play the Queens Birthday Ball, the major annual event in the Cairo expatriates calendar, held in the gardens of the British Ambassador, HE Sir Derek Plumbly, to raise money for local charities. I heard them on the morning of the event doing their sound check and it was immediately apparent that l had chosen well. A truly vibrant sound from six very professional musicians making music that caused the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up. At the event they did two sets and the crowd loved them. The floor was always overcrowded with people spilling onto the grass and although it was supposed to finish at 2:30am they carried on until 3:00. They would have gone on longer l am sure, but the neighbours may have complained had that happened. There was a local band also appearing and there were a few numbers where the two bands played together; it is so good to see that sort of thing! Even now, three weeks after the event, people are still talking about how excellent Groove Machine were. To sum up, Groove Machine are a band that play great 70s music and know how to get the people on the dance floor and keep them there. They are great musicians and lovely people to be with, aside of the music. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody looking for a truly memorable night. I have asked them to come back next year which is surely testimony in itself. The very best of luck to Groove Machine for the future.

3 x 40 Minute Sets

We are happy to tailor the performance to your requirements, it is after all your event. This can all be sorted out well in advance and will be incorporated into the terms of the contract when you receive it.

Band Info:
The band line is very flexible, from 6 piece up to 12 piece showband. The six piece band features male and female vocals, drums, bass, guitar and keyboards/sax . It is also possible to expand the line-up even further with a fabulous brass section, additional vocalists, percussion and dancers if required. There is always a minimum of 2 vocalists.
