The SoulMates history goes back over 15 years, when a bunch of then session musicians came together to form a really top class Soul outfit. Two members were part of The First Class - remember the 70's classic hit 'Beach Baby'? - with other members having performed with many well known acts such as The Sweet, Edwin Starr, Marillion, Cutting Crew.

With roots still in Motown and Soul, the repertoire includes hits from artists like Average White Band, Earth Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Ricky Martin, Otis Redding, Isley Brothers, Tina Turner, Frankie Valli, Blues Brothers, Chic, Billy Joel, James Brown, Tom Jones, Rolling Stones, Wild Cherry, George Michael, Van Morrison, Randy Crawford.

Fully equipped with PA system and lights, The SoulMates boast a fantastic brass section giving that fat brass sound that you just can't copy with a keyboard.
