» Profile

Madeline is an authentic and passionate 1940's singer and entertainer avaliable for any type of event. Along with full 1940's dress from uniforms to daywear, Maddie covers all styles of the 40's within her show to give her audience the ultimate experience.

The 1940's one hour show begins with a stage blackout with only searchlights scanning the room. Key speeches from the likes of Churchill and the BBC news play out as the audience is taken back the wartime era. They are then lifted straight up and into some of the finest tracks that kept our troops fighting and the home fires burning. Hits from the likes of the Andrews Sisters, Vera Lynn & Anne Shelton are included.

The War years have their own brand of music that is captured perfectly from the trepidation of waving the boys goodbye through to the celebrations of VE day and beyond.

Maddie aims to make the live show enjoyable for everyone, those that remember the era and also for those that are being introduced to the music for the first time. Hopefully there is a little something in there that will touch everyone's hearts.

She wants people to leave the show feeling that not only did they watch the show but were also part of its success, to this end Maddie encourages audience participation wherever possible. Song sheets are provided to make sure that everyone can sing along with the war classics and she always aims to get as many people as possible jiving and bopping on the dancefloor.

With authentic costumes, fantastic lighting and amazing vocals, Maddie is guaranteed to transport you back to those golden years and bring back all of your dancehall memories.

What she can perform can be tailored to the venues needs, down to what songs they would like, how they would like the night to go and what other background music they would like to be played.

''Madeline Brown is a very talented and authentic entertainer we will be seeing a lot of her over the next few years. She has wonderful timing and style. She has the most important element of an entertainer which is passion and you cannot buy that.''
- Paul Harper Dec 2009

The Embassy Club at Stratford upon Avon held a special 40's Tribute night in aid of "Help for Heroes" we had the most enjoyable evening you could have wished for. We were entertained by one of the best female singers in the midlands "Amy C" aka Madeline Brown who must have sang nearly every song of that era. We at the club would recommend ''Amy C" aka ''Maddie'' to any venue looking for a top class act and top value for money in these hard times.
