Soul Direction are an energetic, experienced and professional 8-piece function band. Playing a seamless mix of smooth soul, funk, disco and banging dance tunes, Soul Direction are ideal for wedding receptions, corporate events, parties and all other functions.

Theres a great selection of fantastically funky 70s disco, smooth 60s soul and banging dance tunes from the nineties through the noughties. From Stevie Wonder and Sister Sledge to Cameo, Candi Staton plus many more... This band guarantee to get the dance floor pumping!

From intimate boutique hotels to grand country houses and from busy city centre offices to large festival stages, Soul Direction have played at weddings, private and corporate parties across the UK.

The band have performed for a wide range of clients including; Vodaphone, Unilever, Deloitte, BBC, Dame Kelly Holmes legacy trust and even Duxford Imperial War Museum, under the wings of a WWII bomber!

Soul Direction are an exceptional band with years of experience performing all over the UK together. Individually they have toured all over UK, Europe and the World sharing stages and bills with some of the biggest names in the industry, including; Jools Holland, The Beastie Boys, Grace Jones and Marlena Shaw.

My wife and I hired Soul Direction for our wedding. We trawled pretty much every website and listened to samples of many bands and felt that from what we heard from the group over the net was the best sound and take on the type of music we wanted for our big day. We were not disappointed. The band set up with absolutely no fuss and we completely flexible both before the wedding in terms of the sets they would play and also on the evening when a few things had overrun. From the start the music was fantastic - and everyone at the wedding and indeed afterwards were asking how we found the band and commented on how good they were. The guys are also all really nice people and had a quick beer with us after their set and helped make the whole experience a perfect one for our big day. I would without hesitation recommend the band to anyone- and finally get to thank them properly for a great set!!

Having only heard the sound bites on the web for Soul Direction I was very nervous as to what they would sound like in the flesh on the night of my 40th - I have to say that there was no need to have worried at all - they were absolutely excellent! Everyone commented on how professional they were and how great they sounded - I was very, very pleased with their performance.
