Solara is a new duo made up of the passionate guitar wizardry of Sam Spade, and the remarkable soulful voice of Lara .

Sam has over twenty years experience of gigging across England and Europe in bands; duos and as a solo performer, and his fluid playing and humour have forged a faithful following throughout the South East of England.

Lara is of both Nigerian and Scottish descent, and she embraces the fiery ancestry of both races in her spell-binding vocal performances, - a luxuriant blend of Stax and Motown with the raw edge of classic contemporary luminaries such as Amy Winehouse, Anastacia and Duffy.

She has extensive experience in her own right, and also as lead performer in numerous bands and ensembles throughout the South East of England.

They are both passionate about live performance and the rapport between audience and performer. Together they form the Solara soul party duo.
